On October 6, 2025, the XXIV Founding Session of the Aktau City Maslikhat was held, where current issues of the city's socio-economic development and the well-being of the population were considered.

During the session, the report of the city akim on the fulfillment of the duties and functions assigned to him was heard. In his speech, the city akim spoke about the work carried out and future plans in the areas of developing production and investments, improving engineering infrastructure, and constructing housing and social facilities.

In 2024, seven major projects with a total cost constituting a significant amount of funds were implemented in the city, resulting in the creation of over a thousand new jobs. This year, it is planned to implement seven more industrial and infrastructure projects. Last year, 390 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned for use, and this year it is planned to increase this indicator to 408 thousand square meters. Furthermore, within the framework of the national project "Future Schools," the construction of two new schools with a total capacity of 2700 places is actively underway. Additionally, it is planned to install 80 children's playgrounds and 50 sports grounds in the city. Work on upgrading utility networks, repairing roads, and comprehensive maintenance is being carried out systematically.
