On February 9, 2026, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov participated and delivered a congratulatory speech at an official reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. In his speech, Zh. Abdrashov noted the high level of Kazakh-Iran relations, highlighting active political dialogue, strengthening of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as the importance of trade, economic, and investment ties. In conclusion, the diplomat expressed confidence in the further deepening of friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iran.
