Dear young daughters-in-law from Sumbe and Shoshanai villages!

On March 7 at 10:00 AM, the “Qazaqtyń kelinderi – ai” daughters-in-law contest will be held at the assembly hall of Sumbe Secondary School.

🔹 Participants’ age: up to 30 years old
🔹 The contest consists of 5 stages:

1️⃣ Self-introduction – poem, song, or short speech (up to 3 minutes)
2️⃣ Talent performance – dance, song, poem, or short scene (up to 3 minutes)
3️⃣ Q&A session (traditions, customs, beliefs and taboos)
4️⃣ Cooking presentation – a video (up to 3 minutes) showing the cooking process of a homemade dish, and the prepared dish must be brought to the contest
5️⃣ “Ana kórgen ton pisher” – a video (up to 3 minutes) showing the process of making a handmade craft, and the finished craft must be brought to the contest
