The PSC in Astana is turning not only into a place to receive public services, but also into a platform for the development of digital literacy. The Government for Citizens State Corporation has launched free offline training for the population in Astana, aimed at improving the skills of receiving public services online and confidently using digital services.
The training is organized by the Tanym Corporate training center of the State Corporation with the participation of National Information Technologies JSC and is conducted in a practical format. Experts show step by step how to use the portal. eGov.kz , A single platform for the Internet resources of government agencies and the mobile applications "PSC" and "eGov Mobile", as well as how to receive the services in demand online in everyday life. The topics of the classes are formed on the basis of frequently asked questions from citizens.
The program is being implemented as part of the digitalization initiatives outlined in the President's Address. At the same time, the training supports the introduction of a new concept of the "Digital Office of the Population" – a modern service model based on the "Apple Store" principle, focused on digital services and consulting support. This format helps citizens to receive services faster and master their online registration on their own.
It should be noted that the training is being implemented in a pilot format: in the first quarter, classes are held in the capital, and in the second quarter it is planned to expand the project to the regions of the country.
Training is provided free of charge, on a regular basis in Astana – every Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 in the department of the Nura district at 4 Kerey and Zhanibek Khandar streets. Admission is free.
