A meeting to explain the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Alash market in Shymkent. During the event, the main changes and priority areas within the framework of the draft were comprehensively presented.
At the meeting, Altay Ordabekov, chairman of the Shymkent city branch of the Green Party of Kazakhstan "Baitak", spoke and touched upon the content of the new draft Constitution. According to him, the Constitution provides for strengthening human rights protection mechanisms, improving the public administration system, and expanding citizens' opportunities to participate in the decision-making process. These initiatives are aimed at developing democratic processes in the country and strengthening the relationship between society and the state.
The speaker also noted that the new version places special emphasis on legal guarantees for entrepreneurial activity. Protecting property rights, ensuring the rule of law, and increasing the transparency of government agencies will create a stable and predictable environment for business entities.
Market workers and entrepreneurs actively participated in the meeting, asking questions and expressing their opinions on a number of norms within the project. In particular, there was a meaningful exchange of views on issues of supporting small and medium-sized businesses, land relations, tax policy, and interaction with government agencies.
According to the participants, the main goal of such meetings is to widely explain the content of the new draft Constitution to the public, as well as to collect citizens' suggestions and actively involve them in public discussion. As a result of the event, the participants expressed their support for the new draft Constitution.
