On 11 February 2026, in accordance with the agreement between the parties, the first interagency online consultations were held between the Ministries of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

During the consultations, the parties discussed issues related to identifying optimal transport and logistics routes linking the markets of the two countries. The sides agreed to continue the dialogue with a view to further advancing trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Myanmar.
