On February 13 of this year, a meeting of the Expert Council under the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology was held, where current issues of state control were considered.

During the meeting, the results of a functional analysis of the implementation of state control and supervision over compliance with the requirements of technical regulations at the stages of the product life cycle were presented, as well as proposed measures for its improvement, aimed at preventing the circulation of unsafe and counterfeit products.

Proposed amendments to the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on technical regulation regarding state control were also discussed. The proposed changes are aimed at strengthening control and expanding measures for prompt response, providing for the introduction of additional control mechanisms and increasing the effectiveness of supervisory activities.

The Expert Council noted the importance of further improving the regulatory framework and strengthening the interaction of all stakeholders to increase the transparency and effectiveness of the state control system.

The implementation of the proposed measures will minimize the consequences and allow for a prompt response to violations.
