Today, the regional governor Nurlybek Nalibayev, the Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova, and deputies of the Majilis of Parliament Murat Abenov, Markhabat Zhaimbetov, and Murat Ergeshbayev visited the construction site of a 300-bed multidisciplinary hospital (with an oncology department) with a clinic that can accommodate 100 visitors per shift and got acquainted with the progress of work.
A very important social facility for the residents of the region is being built on the instructions of the Head of State. The hospital is designed taking into account modern technical solutions and will be equipped with the most advanced technology. High-tech innovations that meet modern standards in diagnostics and treatment will be introduced, which will increase the quality and accessibility of medical care. Thus, a modern medical complex will appear in Kyzylorda, which will be in no way inferior to foreign clinics.
The project, undertaken by the Meliorator partnership, has been allocated 36 billion 416 million tenge. This is one of the largest projects in the region, meeting international standards. The area is 57 thousand square meters, located on 7 hectares. The facility consists of 10 blocks: a clinic, a boarding house, a conference hall, a dining room, physiotherapy, a reception area, administration, intensive care, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and an operating room.
During the construction of the building, the construction of which began two years ago, 21 billion tenge has been spent so far, and 70 percent of the work has been completed. The remaining 16 billion tenge has been allocated this year from the republican and regional budgets. Currently, concrete work is fully completed, and bricklaying is almost complete.
Soon, the builders will install windows and begin the facade. In addition, heating pipes are being installed and connected to the necessary nodes. The electrical network has been laid and distribution points have been prepared. Construction is underway according to schedule. According to the plan, the project will be switched to an enhanced operating mode and the equipment will be installed and put into operation by the end of the year.
Today, there are about 200 people and 15 pieces of equipment at the construction site. There is enough material for the gas pipeline and engineering systems.
It is worth noting that, in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, it is planned to build modern perinatal centers in 12 regions. Today, the foundation stone of a 200-bed perinatal center, which will introduce international experience and advanced medical technologies, was laid in the city of Kyzylorda. A 2.7-hectare plot of land has been allocated for the facility, and 48.8 billion tenge has been allocated for its construction.
