A meeting was held with the labor collective of Standard Cement LLP to explain the content of the Constitutional reform. During the meeting, the employees were comprehensively briefed on the innovations introduced into the Constitution and their significance in the life of society was explained.
The meeting was attended by Batyrbek Zhalmurzayev, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, as well as Nurzhan Zhaksylykov and Makpal Mamayeva, lecturers of the Law Sector of Miras University, who focused on the main areas of constitutional changes.
During the meeting, speakers noted that the main thrust of the new Constitutional draft is to preserve the unity of the country and strengthen social harmony.
– The preamble to the updated Constitution clearly states that Kazakhstan is a unified, independent state, and human rights and freedoms are declared as the highest values of the state. This is an important step that will increase trust between the authorities and society and put the interests of citizens first, – the speakers said.
Legal scholar Nurzhan Zhaksylykov said that the Constitution is not just a legal document, but a strategic framework that guides the country's long-term development. According to him, the new draft pays special attention to issues of freedom of speech, creative freedom, and protection of intellectual property rights.
"These norms will be a real guarantee of citizens' free expression of ideas, the development of science and culture, and the protection of copyright and intellectual work. A just society is formed where the rule of law is strengthened," he said.
In turn, Makpal Mamayeva established an open dialogue with the labor collective and answered the questions of the workers. She noted that constitutional reforms directly affect the daily life of every citizen, and increasing legal literacy is the basis for the sustainable development of society.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their full support for the new Constitution, stating that it is an important document aimed at strengthening the unity and stability of the country.
