The grand opening ceremony of the city's open gymnastics championship was held at the Shymkent Gymnastics School. The large-scale sporting event was attended by Kanat Zharylkapuly Zholdykarayev, Acting Head of the Shymkent City Department of Physical Culture and Sports, who officially announced the start of the competition.
Speaking at the ceremony, the acting head of the department congratulated the participants on the opening of the competition and wished the athletes success. He also noted that such competitions provide a great opportunity for young athletes to improve their professional skills, gain experience, and exchange experiences.
A total of 194 athletes are participating in this year's open championship. In particular, athletes from Astana, Almaty, Pavlodar, as well as Tashkent are competing in the competition.
Within the framework of the open championship, participants will demonstrate their skills in various programs and compete for prizes. The best athletes will be awarded special prizes based on the results of the competition.
This championship will give impetus to the development of artistic gymnastics in the region and pave the way for young athletes to achieve high achievements.
