At a recent staff meeting, issues related to preparation for the upcoming flood season were comprehensively reviewed. Measures aimed at preventing potential risks during the spring period and ensuring the stable operation of infrastructure were discussed.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 200,000 tons of snow have been removed from city streets. During the same period last year, the figure amounted to 96,000 tons. The significant increase in snow accumulation requires strengthened preventive measures.

As part of the preparation efforts, systematic work is underway to ensure the proper capacity of stormwater and drainage networks. The condition of stormwater systems in several residential areas and the private sector remains under special control. Drainage systems are operating in normal mode.

Following the meeting, specific instructions were issued to the responsible government authorities. Tasks have been set to ensure proper maintenance and prompt servicing of stormwater and water disposal systems.

Contracting organizations have been instructed to continue snow removal operations at an intensified pace. Management companies and business representatives are advised to ensure timely snow clearing and removal within their respective territories.
