Regarding the language of documents and information required for customs operations

In accordance with Article 146 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 26, 2017 "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan», the customs authorities may be provided with documents  drafted in  the Kazakh, Russian or foreign languages to perform customs operations.

The customs authority shall have the right to  request the translation of the information contained in the documents necessary for customs operations, drafted in  a language other than the Kazakh or Russian languages.
