A checkers tournament among inmates was held at Institution No. 28

At Institution No. 28 of the Department of the Criminal Executive System for the West Kazakhstan Region, the educational department, jointly with the West Kazakhstan Region Department of Physical Culture and Sports and the Zhaiyk Arena sports club, organized and held a checkers tournament among inmates.

Coach of the Zhaiyk Arena sports club, Daniyar Dzhumagaldiev, took part in the event as the judge of the competition and provided methodological support to the participants.

The tournament was held in an atmosphere of fair and intense competition. According to the results of the tournament, the winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, as well as medals of the corresponding levels and awards in special nominations.

Head of the Educational Department, Major of Justice Mirzhan Mendigaliev, noted that holding such events contributes to the development of logical thinking, strengthens discipline, and helps form positive motivation among inmates.
