At the regular session of the Ust-Kamenogorsk city Maslikhat, the issue of the state of the city's elevator industry was once again considered.

Responsible departments are recommended to approve the "Rules for ensuring the repayment of funds by owners of apartments and non-residential premises related to the repair and replacement of elevators, as well as major repairs of apartment buildings" in the first half of 2026. When clarifying the budget, provide for the financing of these works and work out a mechanism for the transfer of elevator equipment from communal ownership to the common property of the condominium.

These measures are aimed at systematically updating the elevator facilities and reducing social tension among residents of the multi-apartment housing stock.

In addition, following the report of the head of the Finance Department of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk on the state of communal property management, the decision made recommendations to step up work on the transfer of vacant premises for lease or trust management to increase budget revenues, as well as to ensure that the maslikhat is informed about privatization plans through the mechanism of public hearings.
