On March 2, 2026, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of KazAID, A. Arystanov, and the Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Tajikistan, Mr. Seiji Imai.

The parties discussed the prospects for expanding partnership in order to implement joint initiatives in the field of ODA in Central Asia. Special attention was paid to capacity-building initiatives, knowledge exchange, and professional training.

The meeting confirmed mutual commitment to further strengthening cooperation, developing educational and institutional initiatives, and expanding coordination in new areas.
