The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) annually brings together media representatives for the School of Financial Journalism, dedicated to the funded pension system. This year's event will focus on "Pension Asset Management."

The event will take place on March 13 in Almaty from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Online participation is available.
The School will be attended by UAPF experts, representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and investment portfolio managers (IPMs). The event will be held in Kazakh and Russian.

The course program will cover pension asset management by the NBRK trustee and private management companies, principles of investment portfolio diversification, current trends in the financial market, and measures to improve the efficiency of pension asset management.

Investment portfolio managers will discuss the criteria for forming investment portfolios and the financial instruments used.

The event will feature a demonstration of a new digital portal for selecting investment portfolio managers. The platform consolidates key information about investment portfolio managers in a single digital space and provides a systematic approach to disclosing investment activity data, including profitability, pension asset structure, and other indicators that influence investment results. The project aims to raise public awareness and develop an understanding of pension asset investment mechanisms.

The School of Financial Journalism is traditionally held to improve coverage of the funded pension system and develop the professional competencies of media representatives.
