Buenos Aires, March 5, 2026 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov met with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Argentina, Gustavo Gutierrez and the Director of the Kazakhstan Cultural Center, Irina Wagner.

During the meeting, the Ambassador noted the important role of the Honorary Consulate in promoting Kazakhstan's interests, strengthening business ties, and fostering a positive international image for the country.

The parties discussed the current status and prospects for future activities, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of Kazakh citizens abroad, and expanding bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Argentina in trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

Particular attention was paid to consular support for Kazakh citizens in Argentina and improving the effectiveness of interactions with Argentine partners. The Honorary Consul confirmed his readiness to intensify efforts to expand trade and economic ties and attract Argentine companies to cooperate with their Kazakh partners.

During a meeting with the Director of the Kazakhstan Cultural Center, ongoing and future projects were discussed, including joint cultural events. Irina Wagner expressed gratitude to the country's leadership and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil for their support and confirmed her intention to continue strengthening Kazakh-Argentine cultural cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, which marked the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Argentina, Bolat Nussupov presented letters of gratitude from the Embassy to Gustavo Gutierrez and Irina Wagner for their contribution to the development of bilateral relations, expressing appreciation for their professional and responsible work.
