From February 25 to 28, 2026, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Sports Tourism in the discipline “Tourist All-Around (Ski Tourism)” was held in the Sandyktau District of the Akmola Region. The event also included a stage of the Republic of Kazakhstan Cup in tourist all-around.

A total of 17 teams and 140 athletes took part in the соревнования from the city of Kokshetau, Akmola Region, the city of Astana, as well as the North Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Abai, Zhetysu, and Aktobe regions, and the Zerenda District.

The tournament aimed to develop and promote sports tourism in the country, improve participants’ skills, and identify the strongest athletes of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the championship, teams competed in three disciplines: individual-team distance, technical distance, and cross-hike. The participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, endurance, and strong teamwork.

According to the results of the competition, the prize places were distributed as follows:

Adult category:
1st place — Team “Sayakhat” (Aktobe Region)
2nd place — Team “Batys–West-4” (West Kazakhstan Region)
3rd place — Team “Astana” (Astana city)

Juniors:
1st place — Team “Batys–West-6” (West Kazakhstan Region)
2nd place — Team “Asau” (Aktobe Region)
3rd place — Team “Irbis-Tekeli-21” (Zhetysu Region)

Youth:
1st place — Team “Batys–West-8” (West Kazakhstan Region)
2nd place — Team “Pokolenie” (Zerenda District)
3rd place — Team “Firn 3” (Akmola Region)

The winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas, medals, and valuable prizes.

Holding the championship in the Akmola Region once again confirmed the high level of development of sports tourism in the region and its potential as a venue for major national competitions.
