According to the data of the authorized body in the field of vehicle registration (CAP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan), more than 147 thousand car owners are registered in the Pavlodar region, who own more than 220 thousand vehicles.
To date, over 19 thousand car owners have vehicle tax arrears in the amount of about 655 million tenge.
From April 2, notices of tax arrears will be sent to persons who have not paid taxes on time. Also, a penalty is charged for each day of delay.
Upon receipt of the notification, the taxpayer is obliged to repay the debt within 30 business days.
In case of non-fulfillment of the requirement, a tax order is automatically generated, which is sent to the taxpayer and is subject to execution within 5 working days. If the tax order is not executed, it is sent to the Chamber of Private Bailiffs (CHSI) to initiate enforcement proceedings and compulsory debt collection.
Together with the Chamber of Private Bailiffs and the Police Department, raid measures are being carried out to identify debtors on vehicle tax.
During the raids, the following is carried out:
- checking for debt through the Oracle-Korgau search engine database;
- the delivery of tax orders for the collection of tax debts.
Information about debtors is also transmitted to the Police Department for inclusion in the database of the Oracle-Korgau search engine installed on patrol cars.
In case of non-payment of tax arrears, police officers have the right to place the vehicle in a parking lot.
In 2025, about 250 raid events were held. According to their results, 3,196 taxpayers have paid off their tax debts. The amount of proceeds amounted to 164 million tenge. 6 vehicles were placed in the parking lot.
