On the eve of International Women’s Day, a ceremonial award presentation was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during which employees of the social and labor sector were presented with state awards on behalf of the President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

On behalf of the Head of State, the awards were presented by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askharbek Yertayev. He highlighted the significant contribution of women to the development of the social and labor sphere, emphasizing their high level of professionalism, responsibility, and dedication to their work.

Among the award recipients was Sayagul Yerkebekova, State Labor Inspector of the Department of Labor Inspection for the Karaganda Region. By Presidential Decree, she was awarded the state medal “Eren Enbegi Ushin” (“For Distinguished Labor”) for her many years of conscientious service and her contribution to the development of the social and labor sector.

The award is a recognition of her professional activities aimed at protecting citizens’ labor rights and ensuring compliance with labor legislation.
