Santiago, March 9, 2026 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil and concurrently to Сhile, Bolat Nussupov met with Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Chile, Andrés Rebolledo and Нead of the Kazakhstan-Chile Friendship Society and Fan Club of Dimash Kudaibergen, Carmen Sandoval.

During the meeting, the Ambassador noted the important role of the Honorary Consulate in promoting Kazakhstan's interests, strengthening business ties, and fostering a positive international image for the country.

The parties discussed the current status and prospects for future activities, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of Kazakh citizens abroad, and expanding bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Chile in trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

Particular attention was paid to consular support for Kazakh citizens in Chile and improving the effectiveness of interactions with Chilean partners. The Honorary Consul confirmed his readiness to intensify efforts to expand trade and economic ties and attract Chilean companies to collaborate with their Kazakh partners.

During the meeting with the Head of the Kazakhstan-Chile Friendship Society, current and future projects were discussed, including joint cultural events. Carmen Sandoval expressed gratitude to the country's leadership and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil for their support and confirmed her intention to continue strengthening Kazakh-Chilean cultural cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, which marked the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Chile, Bolat Nussupov presented letters of gratitude from the Embassy to Andrés Rebolledo and Carmen Sandoval for their contribution to the development of bilateral relations, expressing appreciation for their professional and responsible work.
