Spring is a special season when nature renews itself and brings warmth and light to the world. Along with this beautiful time comes March 8 – International Women’s Day, a celebration that symbolizes kindness, compassion, and respect for women. On this occasion, a festive event titled “Woman – Mother. Woman – Beauty. Woman – Flower” dedicated to International Women’s Day was held today at the District House of Culture named after Shamshat Tolepova.

During the ceremonial gathering, District Akim Zhandos Erkinbekuly delivered a speech congratulating all women on the holiday and highlighting their significant contribution to the development of the district.

"Since ancient times, the Kazakh people have treated women with special respect and honor. The saying ‘A woman is the prosperity of the family’ reflects this tradition. Today, women not only create harmony within the family but also actively contribute to the development of the country. The exemplary lives of respected mothers who have made invaluable contributions to the development of our district serve as an inspiration for the younger generation. The dedication of women who carry responsibility in various fields, successfully manage their professions, and provide quality education and upbringing to the younger generation deserves special recognition," the district head noted.

During the event, a number of women who have achieved success in various fields were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the Regional Akim and the District Akim.

The festive event dedicated to women who strengthen our future continued with a concert program. During the evening, talented local performer Nurzhan Shomekei presented musical performances that were warmly received by the audience.

In addition, district performers took the stage, performing beautiful songs and creating a joyful festive atmosphere. During the concert, the audience together performed the heartfelt song “Ana turaly zhyr” by the famous Kazakh composer Shamshi Kaldayakov, expressing their deep love and respect for mothers.

At the end of the meaningful celebration, the women expressed their gratitude for the attention and warm atmosphere of the event.
