In Kazakhstan, the work of conscripting citizens for compulsory military service is carried out systematically. Ensuring the high-quality organization of this process is currently one of the key priorities. In this regard, a meeting dedicated to organizing the 2026 spring conscription campaign was held today under the chairmanship of the Deputy Akim of the district, Dias Moldabayev.

According to the main agenda item, the Head of the Department for Defense Affairs of the Karmakshy District, Zhandos Bekmurzayev, delivered a report on the progress of the spring conscription campaign and provided information on the organization of the draft activities.

During the meeting, the Deputy Akim emphasized the importance of ensuring the conscription campaign is organized efficiently and systematically and gave a number of instructions to the responsible specialists.

In addition, several specialists who responsibly fulfilled their duties and actively participated in last year’s autumn conscription campaign were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the district akim and the deputy akim.

It should be noted that from March 1 to June 30, 2026, citizens aged 18 to 27 who are eligible for military service will undergo medical examinations and be called up for service in the Armed Forces.
