Voting is taking place in The Hague at referendum polling station No. 446 located at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Voting began at 07:00 local time in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since early morning, Kazakhstani citizens residing in and temporarily staying in the Netherlands have been arriving at the polling station to take part in the vote and express their civic position.
Despite the large-scale sporting event taking place in The Hague – the anniversary NN City-Pier-City Loop run, which annually attracts tens of thousands of participants and is accompanied by temporary closures of several central streets of the city, Kazakhstani citizens are finding the opportunity to come to the polling station and fulfil their civic duty.
According to the participants, taking part in the referendum is an important opportunity to contribute to the further development of the country and to help determine its future.
It is expected that more than 120 citizens of Kazakhstan will visit the polling station in The Hague during the day. Among them are representatives of the Kazakhstani diaspora, students, Kazakhstani diplomats and their family members, as well as citizens of Kazakhstan temporarily staying in the Netherlands.
Voting at polling station No. 446 will continue until 20:00 local time.
