For the Kazakh people, the shanyrak is a symbol of unity and prosperity. The phrase “The homeland begins with the family” reflects the importance of every household in society. In this regard, as part of the Nauryznama decade, a festive event titled “Shanyrak – the Well-being of the Family” was organized in our district on March 17, Shanyrak Day.

During the event, a young couple starting a new chapter in life, Akniet Bagdat and Albina Orazumbetova, were presented with their marriage certificate and received heartfelt wishes.

The event, aimed at promoting and strengthening family values, was attended by the district akim Zhandos Yerkinbek, who congratulated the audience:

“I sincerely congratulate you on the Nauryz holiday, a symbol of renewal and goodness, as well as on Shanyrak Day! The Nauryznama decade is aimed at promoting our national values. The shanyrak is a sacred concept for the Kazakh people. Every harmonious and prosperous family is the foundation of stability in the state and a strong pillar of society.The life paths of our respected elders present today serve as a great example for the younger generation. I wish the young couple building a new home mutual understanding and prosperity,” said the head of the district.

As part of the event, exemplary families who have lived together in harmony for many years under one shanyrak were honored: Aralbek Alimsheuly and Mariyash Kaskabaykyzy, Asylbek Erzhanuly and Torshagül Abzhankyzy. They were awarded and shown special respect.

During the evening, respected elders gave their blessings and expressed warm wishes to the newlyweds. In addition, performers entertained the guests with musical performances, creating a festive atmosphere.
