Astana, April 1, 2026 – Bilateral interagency consultations were held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleхandr Mischenko.

During the meeting, the parties discussed pressing issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Particular emphasis was placed on increasing mutual trade turnover, expanding cooperation in agriculture, improving logistics, and diversifying exports.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue the dialogue between their foreign ministries in order to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
