A telecommunications infrastructure development project is being implemented jointly with the regional Information Administration and the investor, Mobile Telecom Service (Tele2/Altel). At the first stage, two dual-purpose poles were installed in the Bereke microdistrict, combining the functions of communication antennas and street lighting. They provide coverage for up to 5,000 subscribers and Internet speeds of up to 600 Mbps. As part of the project, it is planned to build a network of about 60 base stations. Special attention is paid to areas with low signal levels, including the Bereke and Konai neighborhoods, the industrial zone and the Triathlon Park. The total volume of private investments is about 3 billion tenge. Currently, digital solutions are being implemented in key areas such as street lighting, traffic management and public infrastructure, which are directly dependent on a stable Internet connection. The implementation of the project by the end of the year will eliminate the "white spots" of coverage and significantly improve the quality of communication.
