In honor of the 100th anniversary of the People's Artist of Kazakhstan, singer and composer Danesh Rakishev, a concert "Music of the great Danesh - a mirror of the spirit of the nation" was held at the Multimedia Museum of Almaty. As part of the event, the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbayuly Museum of Local Lore of the Zhetisu region organized a traveling exhibition "Danesh Salgan auen". Personal belongings, photographs and documents revealing the singer's meaningful life and creative legacy were presented to the audience at the exhibition. Among them, a handwritten list of his songs, an accordion, a radio and a gramophone on which his voice was recorded aroused particular interest. The exhibition was attended by Danesh Rakishev's student, senior lecturer at the Department of Traditional Musical Art of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after          T. Zhurgenov, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurzhan Zhanpeyis, descendant of singer Gulnar Daneshkyzy, as well as intellectuals, artists and students.
