On April 16, 2026, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region, and the Education Department of the Tarbagatay District, a republican methodological intensive on the topic "Rural School – A Source of New Opportunities" was held.

The main objectives of the event were to improve the quality of education, exchange advanced pedagogical experience between hub and small-class schools, as well as to enhance pedagogical approaches and teaching methods.

As part of the program, to implement the project "Enhancing the Potential of Hub Schools in Rural Areas," aimed at developing rural education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, seven sectional meetings and a plenary session were organized at the hub school KGU "Abai Secondary School" of the Tarbagatay District Education Department.

The work of the sections focused on addressing current issues of education quality management, implementing effective educational technologies and innovative solutions, digital transformation, developing leadership and professional collaboration, improving teacher qualifications, including specialists from the "Children's Art School," as well as implementing innovative initiatives.

During the work, participants presented practical cases and developed proposals aimed at reducing the digital divide in rural schools, implementing artificial intelligence tools, developing STEM education, adapting modern management models, and creating a comfortable and safe educational environment.

Following the methodological intensive, proposals focused on ensuring the sustainable development of rural schools, enhancing the professional potential of teaching staff, and expanding students' access to quality education were summarized and systematized.

The event was attended by heads of educational organizations, deputy directors for academic and educational work, as well as teachers from all regions of the country. The total number of participants was 210 people.
