Seoul, 16 April 2026 – A delegation of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in a Regional seminar on international taxation held in Seoul on 14–16 April 2026. The event was organized by the Asian Development Bank, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and the OECD Korea Tax Centre.

       During the seminar, participants discussed modern approaches in the field of international taxation, as well as practical issues related to the application of new tax mechanisms. Particular attention was paid to improving the treaty framework, exchanging experience, and developing effective approaches to tax administration.

       Participation in the event enabled the SRC delegation to become acquainted with current international practices, exchange views with foreign experts, and study approaches aimed at protecting the tax base and improving the effectiveness of tax regulation.

       The work carried out will contribute to the further development of international tax cooperation and the improvement of national tax policy in line with current global trends.
