On April 17, explanatory activities were carried out at major markets in the city of  Ust - Kamenogorsk with the participation of representatives from government agencies. The work involved employees of the Department of State Revenues for the East Kazakhstan Region, the Department of Trade and Consumer Protection, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry of the East Kazakhstan Region, the Entrepreneurship Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the territorial inspection for the East Kazakhstan Region of the Committee of State Inspection in the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Metrology and Standardization for the East Kazakhstan Region, as well as law enforcement agencies.

The main purpose of these activities is to explain to entrepreneurs the norms and requirements of the current legislation. During the events, representatives of the agencies distribute informational materials, provide consultations to business entities, and remind them of the responsibility for violations of established rules.

On the first day of the рейд (inspection) activities, the working group visited the wholesale market “Dina” where they conducted explanatory work with entrepreneurs, answered pressing questions, and distributed informational brochures.

Special attention was given to issues of tax administration. Representatives of the regional state revenue authorities emphasized the importance of officially registering business activities, registering cash register machines, issuing fiscal receipts, ensuring acceptance of non-cash payments, including through payment cards, and also informed about the key provisions of the new Tax Code, which came into force on January 1, 2026, including special tax regimes and transitional provisions.

As noted by Shyngys Sairamkan, Head of the Department for Administration of Individual Entrepreneurs of the State Revenue Office for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the introduction of a new special tax regime based on a simplified declaration with a 2% rate contributes to business legalization and reduces the shadow economy.

Bakytzhan Zhumadilov, Head of the Desk Monitoring Department of the Department of State Revenues for the East Kazakhstan Region, emphasized that such explanatory work will be carried out on a regular basis.
