The branch of the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” in the Abai region reports that since the beginning of 2026, more than 56.6 billion tenge has been allocated to residents of the region in the form of pensions and state benefits. More than 279,000 people receive social support.

Thus, government payments cover a significant portion of the region’s population and remain one of the key measures of social support.

The largest share of funds was directed to pension payments — over 50.5 billion tenge, while more than 6.1 billion tenge was allocated for state benefits.

Approximately 21.4 billion tenge is allocated monthly to ensure these payments, which confirms the stability and systematic nature of the ongoing social policy.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 16,000 applications for the assignment of pension and social payments have been submitted to Public Service Centers, indicating a high demand for these services among the population.

“The work on assigning pensions and state benefits is carried out as usual. Services are provided on time and in full,” said Acting Director of the branch of the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” in the Abai region, Murat Umirzakov.

It should be noted that to apply for pensions and benefits, it is necessary to visit a Public Service Center.
