On April 20, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman, Aidarbek Tumatov, held a meeting with H.E. Abdulsalam Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key priorities and promising areas for strengthening bilateral investment cooperation. Particular attention was given to the potential establishment of a Kazakhstan–Oman Investment Fund. The Omani side expressed strong interest in creating such a financial mechanism to support and finance high-impact joint economic projects.
