On April 27 of this year, an explanatory meeting with civil servants was held in the Samara district as part of preventative efforts to prevent civil servants from becoming involved in destructive religious movements.
The event took the form of a seminar with the participation of religious studies specialist Zhasulan Zhomartkanov. During the meeting, civil servants were briefed on the provisions of Kazakhstan's legislation on religion and discussed the risks associated with destructive religious movements and gambling addiction. Special attention was paid to the signs that allow one to recognize dubious religious organizations and the possible consequences of their influence on individuals and society.
As noted by the district's head of staff and ethics commissioner, Rauan Zhampeisov, such events contribute to increasing the legal literacy of civil servants, strengthening public safety, and building a strong immune system against destructive ideologies.
