On April 29, 2026, the regional competition "Best Supplementary Education Teacher - 2026" was held at the KSU "Secondary School No. 31" of the Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk. The competition was organized by the KSU "East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Development of Education 'Örken'" of the VKO Education Department.

Competition goal: to enhance the status of teachers and identify the professional skills of supplementary education teachers, to determine and disseminate innovative pedagogical experience in the supplementary education system, as well as to support teachers who have achieved high results in their professional activities.

Teachers from supplementary education organizations in the region participated in the competition. The competition was held in 2 stages: Stage 1 – district (city), Stage 2 – regional.

The regional stage consisted of two parts:

• "My Lesson" (a fragment of a lesson);
• "Master Class" (a lesson on a topic chosen by the participant).

Based on the results of the competition commission's work, winners were determined in the following areas: musical, artistic and aesthetic, choreographic, fine and decorative-applied arts, as well as scientific and technical, invention, and robotics.

Grand Prix winner: Orazimamova G.D. – supplementary education teacher at KSKP "Children and Teenagers's Club 'Zhiger' of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Association".

1st place: Pavlov D.E. – saxophone class teacher at KSKP "Children's Music School No. 1" in Ust-Kamenogorsk; Alifanov V.I. – theater department teacher at KSKP "BÖM Öskemen-Talovka" in the Shemonaikha district.

2nd place: Kairat Timur – vocal class teacher at KSKP "Children's Music School" in the Ulken Naryn district; Sirenko E.V. – choreography teacher at KSKP "Children's Music School No. 1" in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

3rd place: Akashova Sh.B. – supplementary education teacher at KSKP "Children's Music School" in Ridder; Zhuravleva L.A. – fine arts teacher at KSKP "School of Arts" in the Shemonaikha district; Kurmanova Sh.B. – supplementary education teacher of the "Theater+Englisch" club at KSKP "House of Creativity" in the Ulken Naryn district.

Nominations were also awarded: "Research Teacher", "Creative Teacher", "Master Teacher", "Erudite Teacher", "Competent Teacher", "Innovative Teacher".
