In Petropavlovsk, a preventive meeting was held with the participation of 300 college students from across the city. Representatives of the Department of criminally-executive system, the Police Department, and the Regional Prosecutor’s Office took part in the event.

During the meeting, participants discussed issues of legal responsibility, crime prevention, and the promotion of law-abiding behavior among young people.

Students were informed about the consequences of fraud, hooliganism, and drug trafficking. Fragments of the documentary film “Dead Drops. Retribution” were also shown. Bronze medalist of the World Cup in Kazakh Kuresi, Dmitry Diner, encouraged young people to believe in themselves, avoid “easy money,” and build their lives through honest work.

As part of the event, a live teleconference was organized with convicted individuals, who shared personal stories about the consequences of crimes they had committed and emphasized the importance of making the right life choices in order to prevent offenses.
