As part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” environmental campaign initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, large-scale community clean-up activities were organized today in Karmakshy District.

Employees of all district departments and institutions, volunteers, youth, and local residents actively participated in the clean-up effort, contributing to the cleanliness and beautification of their native land.

District akim Zhandos Yerkinbek also took part in today’s environmental campaign and actively joined the clean-up activities. The district head visited the ongoing works in populated areas and monitored the quality of sanitation and beautification efforts. In addition, he assigned several tasks to the heads of responsible sectors and emphasized the importance of continuing cleanliness activities on a systematic basis.

Residents of 2 settlements and 12 rural districts of the region took part in the large-scale event. During the clean-up, streets, public places, and the territories of social facilities were cleaned. Grass cutting, tree whitewashing, painting, and landscaping works were also carried out, while collected waste was transported to designated disposal sites.

Creating a clean and attractive district is a shared responsibility for all of us. Therefore, we encourage every citizen to actively participate in environmental initiatives and contribute together to the beautification of our homeland.
