The grand opening of the Vasilyevskaya ferry crossing took place in the Samar region. Akim of the Odessa region Serik Zhenisov congratulated the crew of the Odessa motor ship on the beginning of the new navigation period.

According to the head of the district, landscaping of the surrounding area is planned this year, and the ferry itself will become even more attractive to tourists and guests of the region in the near future.

The festive event was organized by the Department of Internal Policy, Culture, Language Development and Sports of the Samara region together with the artists of the regional House of Culture. A concert with the participation of local creative groups was held for the crew of the Odessa ferry and passengers traveling in the direction of Samar – Katon-Karagai.

For two hours, the audience was presented with musical numbers and creative performances. The guests noted the high level of training of Samara artists, their talent and stage culture, thanking them for the festive atmosphere and good mood.

It is worth noting that Vasilyevskaya ferry is considered one of the unique objects of the region and plays an important role in the development of tourism in the region. Today it is the only ferry crossing of this format in the region, which makes it one of the local attractions.

Comfortable conditions have been created for passengers on the ferry: a cafe is open, and free high-speed Starlink Internet is available.

A professional team led by the owner of the vessel, Evgeny Filippov, ensures stable operation of the ferry every day from 7 a.m. to evening, creating comfortable conditions for residents and tourists.
