The regional Akim Murat Yergeshbayev, the Chairman of the regional Maslikhat Murat Tleumbetov, Maslikhat deputies, representatives of the intelligentsia, and veterans participated in the ceremony for the opening of the water supply in the settlement of Abay.

The project was implemented at a cost of over 8 billion tenge using funds from assets returned to the state by order of the Head of State.

The head of the region congratulated the village residents and noted the achievements in the socio-economic development of the region.

"Thanks to the support of the Head of State, the Government, and the effective organization of Nurlybek Mashbekuly, the regional budget reached 809 billion tenge, doubling compared to 2021.

The development budget has increased 4.3 times over the past 4 years. These funds were directed towards solving the most pressing problems of our region, implementing large-scale infrastructure projects, and improving the quality of life for the population.

Today, the residents of the region are 100 percent provided with high-quality centralized drinking water.

By the end of the year, we will gasify 10 settlements and raise the level of population provision with blue fuel to 85 percent.

We are confident that clean drinking water will positively impact the improvement of the quality of life and social status of the villagers.

At the event, public figure Imamadin Ongarbayev spoke, and the elder Imanbay Aitimov gave his blessing.

Citizens who made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the district, and employees of the contracting organization that laid the water pipeline to the village, were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional Akim.

Today, 51 kilometers of water pipeline to the settlement of Abay and 32.9 kilometers of intra-settlement networks were laid, and 297 water intake columns were installed.

Furthermore, 400 water distribution points were installed to supply water to social facilities and residential houses.

Now, the residents of the settlement of Abay will be provided with high-quality drinking water on a permanent basis.
