Today, a ceremonial opening of a new fire station was held in the Aldashbay Akhun rural district as part of the “Auyl Qutqarushylary” (Village Rescuers) program.

On behalf of the District Akim, Deputy District Akim Samat Smagulov attended the event and congratulated residents on the opening of the new facility. The ceremony was also attended by Zhasulan Tuymenov, First Deputy Head of the Kyzylorda Region Department of Emergency Situations and Lieutenant Colonel of Civil Protection, veterans of the emergency services sector, civil protection personnel, and local residents.

The new fire station will enhance rapid response capabilities in emergency situations, strengthen preventive measures, reduce the consequences of incidents, and improve the effectiveness of rescue and emergency operations.

During the ceremony, Samat Kydyrbekuly stated:

— To construct the fire station in the rural district, building materials were purchased in 2025 using fourth-level local budget funds, and a garage was built with the support of local residents. This year, additional funding was allocated from the local budget to strengthen the facility’s material and technical base. A specialized fire truck has now been acquired, and the station has been equipped with the necessary tools and equipment.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the residents, sponsors, and everyone who supported this important initiative and contributed to its implementation.

During the event, Certificates of Appreciation from the Head of the Kyzylorda Region Department of Emergency Situations were presented to citizens who contributed to the construction and equipment of the fire station. In addition, village elders offered their blessings and expressed their wishes for the new facility to serve the public good.

As part of the ceremony, the keys to the fire station and the specialized firefighting vehicle were officially handed over, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
