A ceremonial event was held here to officially launch a month-long series of festivities dedicated to the National Dombra Day.
Zhannat Nugmanova, Head of the Department of Culture and Language Development, addressed the guests and participants with a welcoming and congratulatory speech, emphasizing the important role of the dombra in preserving the cultural identity and heritage of our people.
This large-scale event was part of a regional campaign and brought together about 50 true admirers of traditional art. A special atmosphere was created by members of the folk theater, who presented a touching theatrical performance dedicated to the national instrument and its profound significance.
The musical highlight of the event was the performance of young talented dombra players, who powerfully and expressively performed seven famous kui compositions. The exemplary dance ensemble “Diamonds” added energy and festive spirit to the celebration with their outstanding choreographic performances, delighting everyone in attendance.
