On 29 May 2026, at the Ministry, Her Excellency EAT Sophea, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency Kanat Tumysh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, with residence in Hanoi, signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the Exemption from Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic and Official/Service Passports.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
