From June 10 to June 16, 2026, representatives of the supreme financial control authorities of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union held a joint control event to verify compliance by the Republic of Kazakhstan with the provisions of the Protocol on the procedure for crediting, Distributing and Transferring import Customs Duties to the budget revenues of the EAEU member States for 2025.

       The control event was attended by representatives of the Audit Chamber of the Republic of Armenia, the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      As part of the audit, the activities of the State Treasury Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the application of the established procedure for crediting and distributing amounts of import customs duties, as well as other duties, taxes and fees were studied. The control event is aimed at assessing compliance by the Republic of Kazakhstan with the obligations stipulated by the legal framework of the Eurasian Economic Union in the field of customs revenue distribution between the member states of the association.
