Citizens and entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan can obtain a retail alcohol sales license electronically without visiting government offices. The service is available through the eGov e-government portal, the eLicense.kz electronic licensing portal, as well as Public Service Centers and state revenue authorities.

The most convenient way to obtain a license is through online government digital services. To apply, applicants must log in to the eGov portal, select the “Retail Alcohol Sales License” service, complete the application form, pay the required fee, and sign the application using an Electronic Digital Signature (EDS).

The processing time for the service is one business day.

To obtain the license, applicants are required to submit a completed application form, proof of payment of the licensing fee, a lease agreement for the premises (if applicable), and information confirming compliance with qualification requirements.

Digital government services make the licensing process faster and more convenient, reducing paperwork and eliminating the need to visit government offices while improving access to public services for businesses and citizens.
