Public service: status and responsibility!

The status of the civil service is determined by civil servants. In this regard, on June 22, under the leadership of the ethics representative of the Akimat of Atyrau region, F. Akhmetova held a special meeting for the teams of a number of regional departments, which was attended by employees of the Department of Economics and Finance of Atyrau region. The meeting comprehensively discussed amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Service" and the draft law "On measures to further improve ethical standards and rules of conduct for civil servants", as well as legislative initiatives aimed at further improving the civil service system. The importance of the innovations provided for in the framework of this draft law was emphasized, special attention was paid to issues of increasing the responsibility of civil servants, strengthening official discipline, compliance with ethical standards, as well as improving the image of the civil service.
