A new government service "Termination of the activity of an individual entrepreneur (IE)" has become available in the eGov Business mobile application.

The service allows you to fully apply online for the closure of an individual entrepreneur without visiting government agencies at the submission stage.

The service is intended for sole proprietors and individuals engaged in private practice. Users can go through all the steps in the app and track the application status in real time. To submit an application, you must log in to eGov Business, select the "Registration and Termination of Business" section and the "Termination of Sole Proprietorship" service, then specify the category of the tax application:

- D - termination of activities with desk control;

- E - termination of business in a simplified manner without desk control. Next, you need to select a state revenue agency, confirm consent to data processing and sign the application using a quick access code, Face ID or Touch ID. The result of the service will be available upon re-entry.

The status "Processed" confirms the official termination of the sole proprietor's activity in the database of the state revenue authorities. Also on the eGov portal.kz has a legal entity liquidation service available since 2017.
