KazAID and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development discussed prospects for cooperation

On June 24, 2026, KazAID Acting Chairman of the Board J. Asanov met with the Director of the Partnerships Department of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (further - EFSD) G. Vasiliev at the EFSD headquarters in Astana.
During the meeting, G. Vasiliev provided information on the EFSD's activities and programs in Central Asia and the Caucasus. He also shared the results of an analytical work prepared by EFSD Senior Expert A. Morozkina and other representatives of the organization on “The Role of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Assisting International Development”.
At the end of the meeting, the parties explored the possibility of implementing joint projects in water resource management and agriculture, and discussed further cooperation to exchange experience and knowledge in international development.

The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) is a regional financial mechanism established in 2009 by Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. The Fund was established to overcome the consequences of the crisis, ensure long-term sustainability, and promote the integration of the economies of its member states.
