On June 26, 2026, the Territorial Election Commission, together with the Youth Resource Center, held a unique educational meeting entitled "We Are Future Voters!" as part of the Young Voters Club. The main goal of the event was to explain to future voters the fundamental principles of the Republic of Kazakhstan's electoral system and to instill in them a sense of civic responsibility for the country.
During the meeting, Aizhan Mukhametkaliyevna, Director of the Youth Center, drew the attention of the young people to the importance of the electoral process for the state. She emphasized that all electoral processes in the country are regulated by the Constitutional Law "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
During the educational portion of the event, Deputy Chairperson of the Territorial Election Commission Zhansaya Nurlankyzy spoke, explaining the fundamental principles of Kazakhstan's electoral law. Using visual slides on a screen, she thoroughly familiarized the young people with the four main principles of elections. To reinforce their theoretical knowledge, an engaging "Blitz Quiz" was held among the participants. The young people demonstrated a high level of preparation, answering the questions posed very quickly and accurately.
At the end of the meeting, the young people gained their first practical experience: they filled out practice ballots and dropped them into a makeshift ballot box. Participants noted their great commitment to their future civic responsibilities. This meeting, "We Are the Future Voters!", was an important step in shaping the political culture of the younger generation.
