Astana is increasingly becoming a destination on the itineraries of travelers from around the world. The number of visitors continues to grow, record-breaking investments are being made in the city, and major international events are making the capital even more attractive.

To showcase Astana’s tourism potential, journalists were invited on a special tour of the city’s newest attractions. The itinerary ranged from an immersive multimedia exhibition dedicated to the enigmatic Banksy to the modern Museum of the History of Kazakhstan’s Railways, where visitors can even step into a train driver’s cab.

Another highlight is the exhibition Leonardo da Vinci: Genius of the Renaissance, where visitors can explore the life of the legendary master and experience his most famous artworks and inventions through an interactive modern format.

Major international events remain Astana’s biggest draw for tourists. In the first three months of the year alone, the city hosted more than 300 events, with even more to come, including Comic Con Astana, the Games of the Future, and a concert by Enrique Iglesias.
