"A WRITER WITH A SHARP MIND"

In honor of the 80th anniversary of Imanbay Aitimuly, a member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a veteran educator, a district event titled "A Writer with a Sharp Mind" was held. The purpose of the event was to promote the works of our writers who are deeply loved by the people in our region, to showcase their worthy life paths as an example for the younger generation, and to honor the citizens of the country.

The evening meeting began with a video presentation about the life and works of Imanbay Aitimuly,

and continued with the presentation of a congratulatory letter from the district akim by Deputy Akim of the district N. Bokayev

and gifts to the writer. The evening was hosted by A. Sailauov, editor-in-chief of the district newspaper "Tolkyn," who conducted an interview with the honored guest of the evening, Imanbay Aitimuly, about his life path and creative work. During the evening, rural artists presented their musical gifts. Also, as part of the event, the results of the district competition held among methodologists of cultural centers and rural clubs were announced. According to the competition results: Gulnaz Nurbaykyzy /methodologist of the Kamystybas rural club/ — "Grand Prix," Gulnara Sydykkyzy /methodologist of the Karakum rural club/ — "1st Place," Raisa Beibitkyzy /methodologist of the Amanotkel cultural center/ — "2nd Place," Meruert Kulnazarkyzy /methodologist of the Sazdy rural club/ — "3rd Place," Aigerim Törebekkyzy /methodologist of the Bogen rural club/ and Aigul Aknietkyzy /methodologist of the Bekbauyl rural club/ — "Special Prize" from Imanbay Aitimuly, and the remaining participants were awarded "Letters of Appreciation" and cash prizes.
